As they are belonging to a Poor class, they are easy prey of exploitation at various levels in their own society. Our Association had helped them to gain such a position where they can raise their voice against any exploitation. Also their voice cannot be left Unheard.

Identity Card issued to Every Garbage Collector
Due to presence of illicit elements in society, every white collar individual suspects these poor rag pickers as wrongdoer. Identity card proves to be a strong tool to justify themselves.

Self Help Group
Self Help Group is formed, through which Rag pickers start collective saving with an equal monthly contribution of Rs.50-100 by 10-15 members. One of such group has a bank balance of More than Rs.48, 000/-.
Financial security is vital for every individual, for Poor’s financial insecurity forces them to dishonest path. We have helped some in maintaining a good & respectful life.
