Special Diwali Celebration

This Year Diwali has been a totally different and never before experience for many individuals and families in Latur. Janadhar has organized a program which was supported by the like minded people from Art of living Group, Gayatri Parivar, Rotary Club and others. Educated High Society People had gathered in a slum area of Vilas Nagar situated in Latur. More Than 55 individuals comprising of Doctors, Engineers and, other Respectable professional participated in this initiative. .

All were requested to carry home made traditional Diwali sweets, Diyas, and some crackers. Each Individual was assigned a family which he had to visit, spend some time with that family. Lighten the Diyas Enjoy the diwali sweets, and burst crackers with the family. A Totally unknown person that too from a high class society coming to a rag pickers home to celebrate diwali was just like a day dreaming for many people in the Vilas Nagar Basti.

A wide smile was the only thing which was common amongst all residents of Vilas Nagar as well as 55 Guests that had come.The program was concluded with a session of Art of Living satsang.
